2009 Banned Words List
Lake Superior University has published its 35th Annual List of Words that should be banned.
Some words/phrases on the list are “shovel-ready”, “czar”, “tweet”, “sexting” and “stimulus”. Take a look at the list and see if you agree with the words that they have picked, because “in these economic times” you need to be careful how you use your words.
